Pivotal Health is seeking a Spanish-English bilingual professional to join our patient support team. This position plays an important role in connecting patients, providers, and referral sources while ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout the scheduling and intake process.

Position Overview
The Healthcare Support Coordinator serves as a key resource for patients and medical partners. This role involves coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate patient information, and assisting callers with questions regarding services and scheduling.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Manhattan, requiring two days per week in the office.
Daily Responsibilities
• Manage inbound and outbound patient communications
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and rescheduling activities
• Review and verify demographic, insurance, and referral information
• Document patient interactions within electronic healthcare systems
• Assist patients with questions regarding upcoming appointments and required documentation
• Communicate with physician offices and referral partners as needed
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow up
• Support administrative projects and department initiatives
• Perform general office and clerical functions
Qualifications
• Fluent in both Spanish and English, written and verbal
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in healthcare administration, patient services, scheduling, or customer support preferred
• Working knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy
• Demonstrated reliability and professionalism

Compensation
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
