MedBridge Healthcare is growing, and we are looking for a full-time IT Security Analyst to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota.
In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our systems, safeguarding patient data, and strengthening our cybersecurity posture across a national healthcare organization.
If you have experience in cybersecurity, network security, vulnerability management, and incident response, this is an opportunity to work directly with IT leadership and make a meaningful impact.
🧠 What You’ll Do
- Monitor systems and networks for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and alerts
- Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
- Maintain and support endpoint protection, firewalls, and security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS)
- Assist in implementing cybersecurity controls and best practices
- Support compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security standards
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits
- Partner with IT teams to ensure systems are configured securely
- Help maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans
- Stay up to date on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies
✅ What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or information security analysis
- Hands-on experience with:
- Security monitoring tools / SIEM
- Endpoint protection and antivirus platforms
- Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Vulnerability scanning and remediation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to investigate and respond to real-time security threats
⭐ Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH
- Experience in healthcare IT or regulated environments
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data protection standards
- Experience with cloud security or Microsoft security tools
