Healthcare Onboarding Specialist (Hybrid)

📍 Greenville, SC | 3 days onsite

MedBridge Healthcare is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. We partner with hospitals and physician practices nationwide to deliver fully integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment, and long term care management of patients with sleep disorders.

We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist to support the onboarding of clinical and non clinical employees across multiple markets. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth, compliant, and professional onboarding experience for new hires joining a healthcare environment.

This is a hybrid position based in Greenville, SC, with in office work required three days per week.

Summary

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing onboarding processes from offer acceptance through start date. This role works closely with HR, hiring managers, and compliance partners to ensure all onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding workflows for new hires across multiple locations
  • Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and credential verification
  • Ensure completion of required clinical compliance documentation
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for onboarding questions
  • Communicate onboarding timelines and requirements to new hires and managers
  • Maintain accurate records within HR systems
  • Support onboarding audits and compliance tracking
  • Assist with process improvement and onboarding best practices
  • Backup support for high volume onboarding periods

Education and Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 1 to 3 years of onboarding, HR, or administrative experience
  • Experience onboarding clinical or healthcare employees is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and follow up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
