We’re looking for a dedicated AR/Collections Specialist to support our Finance team with insurance follow-ups, claims submissions, and a variety of special projects that help keep things running smoothly. 🛠 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collect insurance information from patients and physicians to help submit claims.
• Enter important data into our finance system to generate those claims.
• Use insurance websites and tools to help settle outstanding or denied claims.
• File appeals for underpayments or denials—and follow them through to resolution.
• Handle the full insurance follow-up process from A to Z.
• Take calls from patients, insurance reps, and customers—and make outbound calls, too.
• Investigate denial reasons and find smart, effective solutions.
• Keep records neat, tidy, and ready for audits or follow-up.
• Support attorneys with follow-up materials and organized spreadsheets.
• Jump into special projects as needed and help keep our finance engine humming.

🎯 What You Bring:

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare collections (insurance, patient, and customer).
• Excellent communication skills—on the phone and in writing.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Experience with CPT & diagnosis codes, and understanding of payer guidelines.
• Comfort using computers, phones, and learning new software.
• A high school diploma is required (college is a plus).
• Bilingual? Even better—but not required.
